I'm not so sure about that. I just submitted an 8-card order to SGC last Friday. I also have a 1-card order in the "Assembly" stage at PSA that was shipped to them in mid-October. Anyone care to bet which order gets graded and shipped back to me first?

..If that one-card order is already in "Assembly" then you can start watching your mailbox. California to Arizona is a one-day mail . ? Yes ?

I think there's a few steps after assembly, like QC checks.

Not only that, but even if it's on the "assembly" step, I think that means it's waiting in line for the fancy machine to seal it up in a slab. My experience is that can take weeks to actually get assembled. So I wouldn't wait by the mailbox just yet.

The reason PSA can give crappy service, and still be profitable, is because people make money from their grading. Money is always the answer.

Sorry, but PSA loses again. SGC just sent me an email stating that the 8-card (regular-not expedited) submission they received on December 12th has now been graded and shipped way back to me! I couldn't be happier with that 4-day turnaround service, especially since two of those four days were Saturday and Sunday.

That's great news! I had an order received by SGC on the 12th as well, so hopefully mines finished soon. In comparison, my last PSA submission was in June and the cards were returned in November.
