Default Shipping

Should have the tracking number next to your "paid" section in orders? I didn't receive a notification but I looked daily and it popped up a few days ago.
My package came yesterday from the 12/5 auction FWIW.

That’s just what I told my clients today who have been calling me nonstop! “How dare you expect me to pick up the phone during the holidays!” Their response was “Go fuck yourself, you’re paid to do your job.” What Scrooges!

This is the primary reason (but one of many) why I quit practicing law. The practice of law = mental prostitution; you bill by the hour, you must work to get paid, you are often treated like crap/a commodity, and shaky client loyalty. Lucrative, but tough life sometimes.

It’s brutal. I’m working on a sentencing memo on New Year’s Eve when I could be kicking back for the month of December with the Heritage boys. I also recall doing an arraignment at 1 am on Memorial Day morning last year. I may have to raise my BP a couple points next year like Heritage.

The card (1954 Topps Ernie Banks) I won from Heritage on Dec 8th, got to me on Dec 27th.

All considered, that's decent for Christmas shipping.

Immediate payment but no reciprocity on shipping, a higher BP etc. Heritage is a rich company. All this just smells like corporate greed.

That's all good. Then don't schedule an auction to end right before the holidays.

And don't say that orders will ship in 7-14 days if you really mean "7-14 days or whenever we get around to it while we kick back a little during the holiday season."

I waited until day 23 to send an e-mail requesting a status update, and the boilerplate response I got from Heritage cited "increased pressure on delivery services nationwide." That kind of deflection is annoying, because increased pressure on carriers like FedEx doesn't prevent Heritage from packing up the order, generating a shipping label, and getting it in FedEx's hands.

And mine came today. Only 2 weeks, which should make Peter jealous.

The news that it takes 15 to 20-plus days to receive purchases from some auction houses will be breaking news to some.

Crazy. 22 days and waiting on my ebay card. But I'll have the comfort of knowing some minimum wage employee authenticated my slab, and you won't.

I’m in the same boat as you John. I called them yesterday and they told me they have 7-14 biz days to ship and yes they’re behind due to holidays and they expect mine to ship after Christmas! Doh! I’ve been spoiled by their last few auctions, they shipped them out quick but I guess they’re back on Covid ship time!

Hey John, Merry Christmas to you my friend.

Default Heritage shipping

My winnings arrived today. I looked and did a fair bit of business with Heritage this year and shipping was fairly priced and quick. My records also show REA is quicker not sure if me being in NJ helps that. But very fast shipping.

I won a card in Heritage's Dec 8th auction (and paid on Dec 9th), and it's still sitting, as of this morning, at "preparing to ship"; and I live in Texas.

Most of the time, they ship my winnings to me before I send payment, since I've been a customer for so long and have always paid on-time.

I just figure they're behind a bit due to Christmas and not having a full crew in the shipping dept.

Steve
