I know Nicolo has one but these are pretty darn rare. Rarer than 95% of his issues for sure. If it was a bit smaller (its 9x12) and fit a PSA slab I have no doubt it would be in the several thousands easily. Its a piece of art.

1964 Fortune shoes premium.

Ad from the April 1964 issue of Ebony Magazine.

That's a beauty Lucas.

Trim it, the opinion sellers will give it a number, and you can sell it for a huge profit.

This is definitely high on the list. Only a handful remain, and it's one of the pieces that I'm still trying to find for my collection.

According to my notes, there are 4 that have been graded by PSA.

Thanks Doug, I would never be the one to cut any premium. I've seen a few original photos I've sold trimmed and entombed, they look so much worse. One of them just had a tiny border chunk missing and 75% of the border was completely cut off. And its not like they wouldn't have fit the case, the seller thinks people prefer that. I'd much rather have a 8x10 type 1 with a border issue than a 7.323492x9.44541 abomination that looks like it was through a cheap paper cutter.

*Sorry for the off topic*

Yep these perforated panels came INSIDE Sugar Crisp boxes in Canada. All the other cereals had the cards on the back of the box

No longer own one, but PSA only has about 80 graded and as a newspaper give-away in 1954, there can't be too many floating around. (one pictured is not mine)

Congrats!!

Briggs Meats can definitely be tough. Although PSA does have them down for pop 11, plus I’m sure there’s some in SGC holders out there.

Looks like the 1958 SF Call Bulletin (with stub) to me.

Unless I’m reading the PSA pop charts wrong, they have it down for pop 45 with the stub, and only pop 7 without the stub. Of course, it seems like those that have the stub could be modified to lose the stub pretty easily.

I would have thought the "no stub" version would be considered trimmed or altered and not given a numberical grade. Is that how they handle Zeenuts as well - with coupon and with out?

Can’t say that I know much about how PSA approaches Zeenuts. Naturally, our friends at the TPGs tend to make a lot of judgment calls like this. It does seem like part of the story here has to be that there is perforation where the bottom stub was intended to be detached. So I guess that means it’s not necessarily trimmed, but rather just used for its intended purpose?

SGC gives a numerical grade to the 1958 Hires Root Beer test cards that no longer have their tabs:

Just for fun, let’s add these 64 Sports Heroes complete sheets.

The Mays singles have a pop 3 with PSA, so I suspect the complete sheets are similarly rare. Thus far, PSA has rejected my requests to slab the complete sheets. But maybe they’ll relent someday, and we’ll get more of them to come out of old collections.

1967 raleys supermarket premium

From a 1 day meet and greet at sacramento area supermarket.

1963 lever brothers military panel with mantle!

Both crazy rare pieces haven’t seen another since I found these

Debating selling them, but can’t even come up with a price!! Open to offers though!

You say you've never seen another since posting yours? I recall posting a photo of an autographed Raleys's to another thread you started here two years ago or so... See:

I mean like around on eBay and stuff. There was another when I posted, haven’t seen one in a couple years.

Yeah...no.

It look a long time to finally track it down, and I had to pay a healthy sum to acquire it. Now that I have it, it's proudly on display in my "forever" collection.

Maybe someday after I retire, and need to start selling off my collection to fund my retirement, then I'll let it go. But that's still a long ways off, as I'm still relatively young.

HA.

And hell yes!!! Never gonna give any of those up.

Luckily, around these parts, 47 still counts as "relatively young".
