I knew I'd seen that card somewhere before. It's in the B/S/T for $6000. I don't really see anything wrong with the listing. However, if you've got a BIN of $8,200, it might not be the best idea to say that it "has and SMR of $4000" in the listing. Also, as it was earlier pointed out, it does look miscut. Appearances can be deceiving though..

shouldn't it be in the ebay section in the B/S/T?

I think he's trying to sell it in both places. Thus the lower price here. Net54 discount.

Peter,
That was pretty funny. It made me laugh out loud after a not so fun day. Kenny |

Let's ease up on Pete here. He's a first rate kind of guy and hasnt told any lies. He's just trying to sell a card. When you try and sell something, you always try and build it up to potential buyers.

Have I stumbled onto some sort of time vortex??? This thread reminds me of the good old days on Net54 when any post would lead to inflammatory dialogue and ultimately demerits, suspensions, lost friends, and creation of new pre-war forum websites. I'm as nostalgic as the next guy, but hopefully this thread will die a quick death.
Lovely day... |

I was wondering if you had any cards that are actually cool? Like do you have any with guys with massive afros? I do. Do you have any with players with a floating eyeball? I do. I just scored a Dick Williams card that has such sharp edges that you could slice a pepperoni log so thin that you could read the paper through it. Think my collection tops yours. WIN for Fripples.

I think he might've had it in the right place. He was trying to sell it on Net54, and not link it to the ebay auction...

Jeff you must stop using Hal Lewis tactics to beat sellers down on price. Shame on you.

Certainly nothing personal but when I clicked on the link it went to ebay....so that is why I moved it.
And I might add I just went back and put it back in the 19th century category. It was Jeff's link I clicked on . My apology.
