Yankee photos
Thorne was the Florida photographer for the Yankees from about 1927 thru 1941. This was when they trained in St Pete until the war changed spring training sites.
Wm Greene shot the springtime Yanks starting in the 1940s. The Thorne photos I own are all 8x10s. he would stamp his name on the reverse. I see images like yours with the printed name of the player on the back and of contact print size I'm sure these are Thorne photos. Thorne also shot the Braves when they trained in St. Pete.
