Default Satchel Paige Cleveland Team Issue? Questions
Hi-

I bought this item at the Wilmington MA card show in the last year or two. Is it a Cleveland Team issue or a private issue? Any idea what year it is from? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Not a Cleveland team issue that I am aware of. Anything on the reverse? What size is it?

It is blank backed and roughly 8 X 10 or 8.5 X 11. It is odd as nothing came up in a reverse image search and I could not find it when searching for Paige photos and premiums.

I would assume a private issued photo.

Maybe a Type I but possibly not.

Obviously, could be '48 or '49.

I did not find a match either.

No idea on print year or type but its a cropped image of when Satchel signed with the Indians in 48 alongside Bill Veeck.

Probably Manny's Baseball Land. They made a lot of unique pose photos in the 1950s-1960s, like this Clemente:

Default Unlikely to be a team issue
I don’t believe this to be a Cleveland Team Issue. That is a really neat Paige, though! Never seen it before. Very cool!
