I doubt the list is anywhere near complete. I've seen a much greater range of cards used in '55 Bowman salesman samples than any other year of Topps or Bowman salesman samples.
I don't have my notes here, but I've got '55 panels that have all lighter wood, all darker wood, and one that has a combo. Typically the manufacturers used the 1st series for samples, but Bowman seems to have gone a but further. Does anyone know (David Hornish?) what the series were that year? Are the darker wood borders the 2nd series? |
