That was a lot of fun. With Christmas right around the corner and finishing the basement, I didn't have a lot of extra cash. Came away with my first Tolstoi. Payment was nice and easy.

I missed the "30 second extended bid". How does that work?

All in all, I'm looking forward to the next one.

As auctions come to a close (sub 5-minute, with the art auctionhouse I bid on before), they will add 30 seconds with each bid. This prevents people from placing a bid with 2s left and snagging the item for well below market price.

What a lovely card. My first Tolstoi. The communication was fantastic, the packaging - great! The “Big League Chew” gum inclusion? Priceless!

What a fun experience...
