I think I'm the one you outbid on the Standard Biscuit Rice. Incredible card and I collect Standard Biscuits but I got sucked into a war over a different card and had to make a choice. Glad it went to such a devoted collector. Those Rice rookies are just fantastic. Great job!

I love reading this thread.
I'm still amazed at the treasures that this auction had and the devoted collectors that went after their targets. Jim C, that Herp Cobb is incredible! Micah, terrific accomplishment on the 15CJ set! Val...as everyone here agrees, those Rice cards belong with you. VTGMSC (Mike)...Go Joe Jax! It's great to see a Vermonter in the vintage big leagues! (I lived there until 1998) And to all the others, fantastic! Looks as though the Net54 board did right well in this auction! ![]()

Congrats on that Cobb! I have about 40 Herpolsheimers and was bidding for a while (not that I'll ever complete the set, but hey, why not). I had to drop out at the end, but really like that card - enjoy!
