This has nothing to do with card shows but I am currently sitting in a Starbucks that is normally PACKED and there is nobody here but my wife and I. I asked if this is happening more and the workers have said they see a reduced amount of traffic inside the store but drive through seems to be increasing.

I am not one to panic but I am being prudent. I have my hand wipes that I used to wipe down the table before I sat down but in this Starbucks, its probably a good idea anyway! LOL

How many people got their flu shot this year and always wash their hands etc. ?? Flu kills tens of thousands a year. Hope you haven't just started to wash your hands and using sanitizers. Next year their will be another Coruna strain, how many will get shots then ??? Probably only a low percentage of people. It's crazy , close a school, but the Casino's are open with 1,000 inside with older people.

There are no shots to get--there is no vaccine. Nor is there likely to be one for THIS corona virus a year from now, much less a new strain.

Received an email this morning from the promoters stating the Rosemont show is ON. I am also setting up Sunday at Gonzaga Hall in Milwaukee and that show is ON. Just two cases reported in Wisconsin.

As of 4 o'clock today the show in Rosemont has 21 guys that have cancelled signing autographs. That is out of about 70 guys maybe that were scheduled. And it keeps growing. Yesterday there was 2. There was 9 early this morning that cancelled and now 21

Here in Ohio, schools are now closed for the next 3 weeks starting on Monday (why it's ok to go to school tomorrow is beyond me).

NCAA Tournament just cancelled.

All NCAA spring sports cancelled.

NBA, NHL, MLB suspended.

I'm in the camp that doesn't believe this is the black plague. I think the overreaction is ridiculous, and question the origins of the virus as well as the underlying reasons for the mass hysteria (looking at you, media). There are way too many inconsistencies and questions that don't add up to me and many others. With that being said, this is unbelievable. What a time to be alive...

I hope people focus on the reality that diagnosed cases are a fraction of the actual carriers of the virus.

1. Healthcare protocol does not test enough potential cases. Official "case" numbers aren't a true reflection of the impact to public risk.
2. Not everyone shows symptoms. Unknowingly hosts to the virus.

I have worked in a suburban city just north of NYC, in Westchester County, called New Rochelle for the past 17 years. Perhaps you have seen it in the news recently.

Sadly, what started as one man on the north end of town, moved on to his family, and then to his next door neighbor (he was driving him to the doctor.). From there, it found its way into the local synagogue, and the rest, as they say, is history.

I am not an alarmist, but prudent, common sense measures are appropriate. I hope that we are not naive enough to believe that it cannot happen to us.

I applaud the actions being taken by several neighboring school districts that are closing out of an abundance of caution, the colleges and universities moving to online learning, the NCAA for playing games without fans (going to be quite a different experience to watch), and for all of the decisions being made to protect the American people.

Despite the fact that a significant portion of people in this country get flu shots, roughly 35,000 people die from it every year. That should not bring anyone comfort in this case. COVAD19 is more virulent and no one had any immunity to it. We have just seen the tip of the iceberg so far in this country. As a country we have been slow to respond to it so far. Hopefully, this does not come back to bite us too badly.

I agree 100%... Seems that the orange man in chief has changed his stance should be interesting to hear what he says tonight.
