I would put up a picture of it, but I'm new to the forum here. Could somebody tell me how to upload a pic?

I also have a 1939 Play Ball, Joe DiMaggio...

If you have the pics on your computer/phone click on the little paper clip above the area you type in when making a post. The pics have to be 1.2MB or smaller to upload or you will get a error message.

Ok, I will have to take the pic. I guess you are talking about the one that says "insert link", because the other paper clip says "remove link". So, I will try this a little later, for sure. I'll put up the 39 Play ball too.

And thanks!

Well, I've got to figure out how to rotate this pic! But here's the front of the Joe DiMaggio Bowery card...

There's got to be a simpler way anyway. If I'm taking the pic from my camera, how would I transfer it here? I'm a bit challenged when it comes to this whole 21st century technology thing. If you can give me any more pointers, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks - Gannon

I cropped and rotated it in the free Paint program on my laptop.

I am not very tech savvy myself. I know there are other ways but I take a pic with my phone and email it to myself and save it to my computer. I have posted directly from my phone but it is a PIA with the small screen.

I've posted this before, but it's always worth seeing again for a laugh. This 'autographed' Dimag biography was given to my Dad, who (a long time ago) gave it to me. In looking at it again for the first time in many years, I realized there was no way in heck that Joltin' Joe signed it. Plus, I believe it came out in 2000, the year AFTER he died. And why would someone forging a signature include a mention of Jackie Gleason and Art Carney in the inscription?? Huh?? Wish I had some sort of time machine that would allow me to see who actually signed this tome and why...

And here is a sign adorning the building out here that now occupies the site of (next door to?) Joe D's birthplace...

If you are asking about an actual camera - you know - the ancient 20th century type device, if it is relatively new, it should have the capability of saving images on a micro card/disk, which you then unplug and insert into the same type of slot on your computer and view it with any simple photo or graphics program that is resident on your computer. Then manipulate it, rotate it or whatever, save it and upload it here. On the other hand, if you are asking about a camera/phone, sorry, I can't suggest anything, as I'm also stuck in the last century as far as that goes.
