The image is very similar to one that appears on Tigers programs from 1924, which was the same season Calgary challenged the Montreal Canadiens for the Stanley Cup. The Tigers lost the best-of-three series in two straight by scores of 6-1 and 3-0, with the great Howie Morenz scoring a hat-trick in the opener and another goal in the second.

I don't think that Niners pennant is from the 80's. I don't recall many single bar pennants from even the 70's. Maybe early 70s.
