Those are some nice pick ups guys. Mark, I’m surprised you were fine with the wear to that 1960 All Star. I dont think most people understand how difficult some pennants are to find. I have the American and National versions of this pennant, but not in the blue color. They are really hard to find given how easy most 1960’s pennants are to find. I also think a lot of dated 1961 Yankees pennants are very difficult for their age. You would think that anything from New York would be easy to find, but that’s not always the case.

Yes, so true!

Because you never see that one, I was willing to compromise a bit on the condition. It was kind of a missing ink to my All Star run of pennants, so I can look past the stain pretty easily.

Would LOVE to see your 1960 American League version, if you can dig it out (and if it's not too much trouble). Not sure if I have ever seen that one!

Jason -
This 1961 Yankees is the first pennant that I purchased from you. I think it was 15 years ago.
I have not seen another. As you stated - they are hard to find.

I lied, I thought my AL version was red. Oh well.

I picked this small one up recently. It is the first one I have seen in this format or size (9"). I went for over a year without finding a 1971 Pirates pennant I didn't have. Then in the course of a month I add two to my collection...go figure

Thanks for posting those Jason. That 1960 pair is SO sweet. Love the green felt version. I wonder if anyone else has that rare pairing... Great stuff!

Mike:
Nice pickup. That's gotta be a tough one! Here's another I came across that appears to be in great condition and priced reasonably. Not sure if you have this one.... cool version of the Pirate Mascot, and was surprised to see they carried him through the 1971 season...

Mark,
Have you ever seen a version for 1939? I don’t believe I have. I have WS, but not All Star. That is the Yankees one I am missing.
