wow that's a real eye opener to see what sunlight over a long period of time can do! Agreed that $10k for that card seems like a trip to crazy town. Then again I might have gone a little overboard when paying half that for this one.

This is one of the biggest fears of openly displaying cards. UV is hell on cards. Do any of the cases used by the grading companies really protect cards from this problem?

Maybe they just hit the "reverse enhance" button on their scanner.
All joking aside that is one faded glory of a "7." Thank God for the plastic peepee measuring contest that makes this a 10K card.

That was actually me. I retracted my bid when I found out that the color was wrong from the heritage auction description. There was no mention of it on pwcc and they said how strong of a grade it was.
