This one recently sold on eBay for $650

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1933-GOUDEY-...p2047675.l2557

It has a very nice front with a back that has been destroyed. Based on this and similar sales I don't think it is realistic to expect $750 or more for your example.

You are insane. At least you can see the front on that one. How many people only look at the backs of cards and completely ignore the front?? ZERO. At least on the other example you can see the front. If you were filling it pages of a binder, that slot would be filled, and you can SEE it is a Babe Ruth card. On the OP's example, I have no idea WHO it is!

I think Ben was attempting to say the same as you, he was not backing up the OP's opinion. He was offering a good example of a poor card to state the value was unrealistic.

Personally, I like well presenting poor cards and that example that Ben posted would be a great one for a low budget collector who wanted a Ruth. If it was displayed, no one would know the better. The OPs card ( and I am only being honest, no insult meant) I likely would not put more than 10 bucks toward and that would be just to give it to my son for fun. It has no presentation worth at all.
