I take the bus to go around I had 3 new cars in my life and 2 years ago decided the hell with it the bus passes every 30 minutes and goes everywhere I need to go and only cost me less than 10$ a month (a few tickets only is what I use)...the grocery store and all the rest is only a 30 minute walk back and forth...so I walk a LOT...need newer shoes more often but save at fortune in the end. Everything can be ordered online now so why bother paying so much for a car.

No more cars for me until I am told old or no longer healthy enough to walk that extra mile. I live in a big city so I doubt I will even bother to buy one then.

I have a great one from yesterday! I brought a handful of change to Dunkin Donuts to buy food and a drink, then came home and spent $370 on a Cy Young card off ebay before I even took a bite of a donut...I was literally being too cheap to spend a couple bucks more on real food. I weighed it out and decided DD for less than $5 was the right choice

Another with 13 players who were with the Pittsburgh Pirates during the regular season, but never played a game. There's also one about 27 baseball families, as well as a day-by-day look at the worst team in Pittsburgh Pirates history. When you are visiting your in-laws in their tiny condo and your only "quiet" option to participate in REA/chat with the board at 5:30am is wedged behind the hotwater tank in the stanky storage room for 8 hours.

True story...hey Wonks!

We also took a family camping trip across country in it in 78. I bought 78 O-peeChee in eastern Canada, and 77 OPC in the canadian portion of Glacier park. They'd just got them in!

Default You know you're addicted when...

...you complain to your 8-year old son about purchasing him a $15 Pokemon card, which he desperately wants because apparently it has special powers, and he says, "That's nothing, Dad. You have a cards that cost you $1,000!"

Game. Set. Match.

After flirting with my last venture into 911 Turbos, I've finally came to the conclusion that spending $50,000 on temperamental 90's super cars, was the worst possible investment. Sure 911Ts are really holding their value today, but when you start counting up service receipts, the "luster" of your investment quickly wears off. I've given up the sports car hobby..........for now

As you and I previously spoke about, and I was steadfast in my thinking, don't buy a used race car such as a 911T. It will be in for service more than you will drive it. Then too, when I hit turbo with the clutch in, so I could jump off the line, that probably didn't help a whole lot either. But what are you supposed to do in a race car like a 911T? I had to race from stoplight to stoplight.

That's what it's made for

Some of my old buddies in the Porsche club had some of nastiest tricked out 911s I had ever seen. The HP and torque they were laying down left me starring at the flame shooting out of their rear ends, lol.....if any of you are 930 owners, you know what I'm talking about

That's funny, I owned a 1978 Porsche 911 from 1995 to 2003. I had to decide between the car and baseball cards. Since I only drove it about 2000 miles a year I sold the 911 to a friend. The last I heard he moved to Mississippi a week before Katrina hit. I don't know if the 911 survived.
