Haha, I love baseball cards, I do talk to girls, and I personally hate facebook. I have one, but I never get on it (Maybe once every month!). Anyways, baseball cards aren't only for old people, although I will admit that very few of my friends understand why I love collecting them so much. Heck even my parents don't understand why it is so hard for me to part with one of my baseball cards.

Cameron- You are a young Hero on this board. Hang in there with us. Yeah, most of us are your parents age but you will be some day. I love it that you hate FB. Me too. My 15 yrs old daughter is on it 24x7, almost every second. I make her put it down when we eat so I can see that she actually has a face. Vintage baseball cards, if history repeats itself, will be a nice little nest egg for you some day while you enjoy the journey of collecting. Please PM me if you ever need help with anything. I started at 17 too. This was around 2005. I took a break in college just to enjoy "young people" things but have collected regularly since. My advice to you is to stay with collecting, no matter what anyone else says. Your peers will think you are crazy, but don't let them change your view of the hobby. You're lucky to start early - by them time you reach the age of some of the old timers here, your collection will be amazing.
