Many thanks Ted,

This in and of itself should be considered a major reference in regards to the matrix of T206's.

For the record I fall into including T213-1 and 215-1 as part of this comprehensive production. If one did not have knowledge of Burdick's guide, and laid them out as you have in the scan of backs you would absolutely believe them to be part of the family.

Default thanks....and

Thanks Ted. This is a big help to everyone interested in the subject. I still fall into that other category that doesn't believe the Coupons and Red Cross's are T206s, but we can continue that debate into eternity. I am going to have Brian put this thread into the Archives for perpetuity. That way it will always just be a click or two away. Great work my friend. I look forward to seeing you in a few months at the Oaks show. regards

Default Thanks guys......

The intent of this thread is threefold......

1....Quick and easy access to the most up-to-date info regarding the legitimate front/back combos of the various T-brands
with respect to "THE MONSTER".

2....A fast reference for collectors, who are searching for certain players as a function of their T206 backs.

3....And hopefully, prevent the big $$$$ purchases of fake T206's that have been "re-fronted' (others say "re-backed")....,
as has occurred in the past 12 years.

The PIEDMONT (Factory #25), the SOVEREIGN, and the SWEET CAPORAL (Factory #30) lists are 100 % complete.

All the other T-brand lists are still a work in progress, and are approaching their completion. Therefore, any new inputs from
you are greatly appreciated......THANKS again.

Leon

Entering this thread in the ARCHIVES is fine. Perhaps, sticking it at the top of the daily list for a week is a good idea, too.
Just a suggestion.

As I see it, 1/3 of us agree with you and I with respect to the 1910 COUPON cards and the 1910-12 RED CROSS cards being included
in The Monster's family. Another 1/3 disagree with this premise. Another 1/3 could care less. And then, there is Leon, who apparently
is quite "dogmatic" when it comes to Burdick's sportscards classifications. I do not think we'll convince him, otherwise. That's his opine
and that's just peachy fine.

Regards, and thanks for the nice words,

TED Z

Ted,

Agreed. While Burdick's work was certainly monumental in the early cataloging of cards, he certainly was helter skelter as to designations.

If the 1/3 that disagree with the inclusion of T213-1 and T215-1, I ask why don't we have Sovereign Type 1&2, American Beauty 1&2, Piedmont, Sweet Cap, Broadleaf, Hindu, etc. ALL appeared in "T206" and later in T205.

Default Thanks

Ted,

Thanks for putting this all together. I had the monster less the big 3 complete about 12 years ago. I sold it as I was about to get married. Hmmmm, hindsight !!! Long story short, I'm back in the hunt and loving it !! The backs will be a bigger focus for me this go-round and these checklists are a huge help.

Thanks,

Adam

Default Sovereign list

Thanks to massive help from Ted, I've typed out the entire list of possible Sovereign cards, which came to 478 total. If anybody is interested in it, send me an email at illini_grad_90@yahoo.com and I'll send it along. All I ask is that if you see any errors, let me know so I can clean it up...

Take Care,
Geno
