A M.I.B Mad Mad Mad Scientist Laboratory!
I made the biggest score of my young life on a family trip to Detroit to visit relatives in the summer of 1964. I got my father to buy me a Mad Mad Mad Scientist Laboratory at a hobby shop on the north side of Seven Mile Road just west of the Southfield Expressway!    Box art by the legendary Mort Kunstler!  My two best buddies were more than eager to be my demented half-brained lab assistants and enthusiastically fetched tap water for me while I mixed the concoctions. I believe my father gave it away to the snot nosed kid down the street when I went off to a boarding school in Kennebunkport, Maine for grade nine in September 1965. Very sad. I've wanted another one badly for decades now.
