as there are more than one person involved. anyone can drop names of dealers and auction houses. Hell even I have been in Copeland's Sporting Goods store. |

I hear that America's Toughest Want List is currently reneging on purchase deals that aren't even that big that were made before the original post on this thread. Interesting way to run a business . . . |

Yes, but they would have to respond to your emails for a quiet, safe no hassle deal to take place. |

He complained a few months ago that nobody posts high-grade cards on this site. I didn't see scans of his June purchases in the June pick-up thread. |

I still want to know who "we" is? Maybe it's me, myself, and I, which equals we? |

I contacted them with a card on their wantlist, a 1 of 1 and they replied they would have to see based on some sales if they could do it. they never emailed again? |

I also had a scketchy "almost" transaction with "them." In my opinion, this guy is just trolling this board trying to either pick stuff up for a steal, or possibly flip something really quick if he can find a buyer and a seller at the same time. Can anyone provide a positive feedback for this guy on a transaction? |

Well, "Americas Toughest Want List" must read the board regularly. After posting along with a few others about his strange business techniques, just received an email stating, "Will Pass". |

Do you also have an explanation for committing to a deal, stringing the seller along for a month, and, then, finally reneging on the deal? |

you'll find the answer to that in his ambiguous post about needing to sell stuff through Copeland's due to a personal issue. The issue is called DIVORCE! He claimed to have purchased a Matty Boston Garter for plane tickets for four that I think he stated cost $1400 or so and then selling it for $64,000. The sale was far more important then the aquisition of the card......or was it his ex-wife's acquisition of the proceeds! |

In my email exchanges with him over the last month, and as recent as this morning, it is obvious the voices in his head are no longer able to be controlled. I am pretty sure that he may no longer be responsible for his actions. |
