Default Scorecards and Scorebooks

Thought I'd throw out a thread for interesting or significant vintage scorecards and scorebooks. I've been collecting scorebooks for about ten years and I've seen some really nice scorecards/scorebooks spread around in other threads, particularly Ted Z's Troy scorecards and I know Doug G has a large collection he might share. Any others out there, please show them off.

I'll start out with my favorite - Harry Wright's personal 1883 scorebook while managing the Providence team. It covers a little over a month and includes multiple games against each of the eight National League teams and all of the major league stars of the day. Harry Wright's initials or signature is at the bottom of most of the scoresheets. It also includes Old Hoss Radbourn's no-hitter against Cleveland, the ninth major league no-hitter in history.

Here is a scorecard from 1946. Playing first base for Yale is future president George Bush. This is just after his return from the war where he was a navy pilot during WWII.

Default 1881 Boston Chicago

This one features Anson and Kelly.

Sorry for the small scans, but this is the way they turn out. When attached to an email the scans are large, but on Net54 they always come out small. Help!

Programs have always been my favorite items with my focus on those prior to 1920. Here are 5 from my personal collection that are among my favorites that I have posted before.

1) 1871 Chicago - the City burned down a month after this game was played but this souvenir survived unlike the Chicago team uniforms

2) 1876 Chicago with Spalding pitching

3) 1908 Tigers and 1908 Cubs regular season programs

4) 1918 exhibition program with Ruth on the cover and in the lineup for this game that took place a week after the 1918 world series. Only example I have ever seen.

Nice scorecards. Looking at that 1871 scorecard - I guess corking bats started a lot earlier than I would have ever guessed according to the advertisement in it.
