T206 Foley White - Who is it supposed to be?
Foley White never played for the Houston Buffs. He did play briefly for Galveston. I read in the Goodwin catalog that they believe Foley White could have been mistaken for Carl White, who played a handful of games for Houston in 1909.
Also, better known player, George Whiteman played for Houston in 1907 -1908 alongside Tris Speaker in 1907. Whiteman as far as I can tell played OF/2nd/3rd. Does anyone know who the starting catcher was for the Houston Buffs circa 1908-1909?
