I am sure these are very rare and I have no problem with someone with a lot of money paying for what they like, but HOLY CRAP those are ugly cards.
When factoring in the condition it seems these are some of the most valuable cards in the hobby. I dont even know if some of the rarest 19th century cards we all covet would sell for 10K+ in that type of condition. I can only think of a few cards in the world that would bring that type of money for that condition. I never would have thought that a 1954-55 Hot Dog card would be worth more on average than sets like 4 Base Hits and G&B Chewing Gum.
