Huh...id have thought 12k for that card was a retty strong price...aside from that anomalous auction result?!

I asked Legendary and was told the writing has been placed on these cards . They were not printed like that. Doesn't writing on a card make them a grade 1 at best. They are all 1907 copyright.

Clavindog : Has a copyright 1909 Cobb ever been found ?

Here's the PSA population report on the Cobb's : 27 Batting and 6 fielding.

Yeah, I suspect some bidders had been fooled by the vague item description.

And no, I understand that most of the 1909 Dietsche cards were Cubs and the few Tigers which were made do not include Cobb.
