As far as I know there is only one article not listed here that he wrote for Hobbies. The search continues......but for now please enjoy ...

The last of the articles put out by JR Burdick, for Hobbies Magazine, was in June 1938. It had to do with cigarette card collecting and collecting in general. It also pictures some nice N172s (which weren't classified as N172s at this time). He goes onto mention "cards are a sideline for most collectors". He never met some guys on this board.
