Here's another numerically graded 150 back.

I was the underbidder on it back in 2006 on ebay, at $16,100

Steve, this Plank was sold raw at a Hunt's Auction Louisville slugger museum. See the bottom edge, it is trimmed in my opinion and I believe Hunt sold it correctly as trimmed at the time. Dan.

Thanks Dan.

I was going through my old scans, and have a couple from 2006. I know that's when an ebay dealer named Big Ed's had a Plank up for auction, and I was the underbidder on it. I took out a loan at my credit union for $16K to try for the card, only to end up as the underbidder. To this very day, I'm still kicking myself in the gluteous maximus for not going any higher, especially considering how that card has risen in price ever since

Here's another scan I have of yet another 150 series Plank:

The Hunt card is almost undoubtedly hand cut, here is the card sans slab.

Scott, given that we've only seen a few 150 backs slabbed with numbers, and at least one of those shouldn't have been, is it possible that all of them were carefully hand-cut? Perhaps none actually made it to distribution?

No, I think many were distributed, there are enough with uniform factory cuts and nice even wear to think otherwise. Some of the AUT's are actually trimmed and not hand cut, others appear to be handcut.

And it would make no sense for the 150's to be unissued and the 350's distributed, it would have been the other way around, I would think.

Dan, how can that be, it is graded PSA 3, isn't it?
