First post. Yes, I've had a theft(?) via the Postal System. Sold a bunch of T-206's via ebay right before Christmas. Had a buyer (with perfect feedback) tell me that they never arrived. Sent them via Postal System in one of those little white bubble envelopes you can buy right there in the Post Office. Unfortunately I didn't send them via registered mail. Had 2-3 cards in there; can't recall. Had to refund the money. A learning experience...

Wasn't there a theft of vintage cards from a Seattle store recently? This seller is about five hours north in Quesnal, BC...hmmm. He really is inviting all sorts of nasty speculation about these cards. Ty Phelan

Yeah, that's a shady listing. Wouldn't shock me one bit if it was stolen merchandise.
We're supposed to believe this is just some pot luck smash-up somebody's going to throw 1700+ bucks at. Even if it's legit, they sure are going out of their way to make their stuff look shady. |

It's an interesting listing. You can say that.
I remember Topps had Mystery Refractors. You had to peal off a black film from the front to find out who it was. Of course, you got them randomly in packs in the first place, so the randomness was the same, and by the time one hit eBay the identity was shown. Yes, Seattle is close to the Canadian border. Maybe less than a two hour drive. I think Vancouver is 120 miles away. Last edited by drc; 01-30-2012 at 01:03 PM. |
