The coronation referred to on the last page is the same one we all know from "The King's Speech".

Default Hobbies Magazine- JR Burdick, Sept. 1937

Hobbies Magazine- JR Burdick, Sept. 1937

Burdick wrote 7 articles for Hobbies Magazine. The last one being in the June 1938 Hobbies Magazine, which I don't have. This Sept., 1937 Magazine article is the last one which I was able to acquire. This one discusses misprints, errors and omissions with cards!! Is there a hotter topic in pre-war card collecting than those pesky errors and back collecting?? Once this is posted we will lock the thread in a few days and put it in our Archive Center (icon on every page, far right as you look at your screen) so future collectors and Net54baseball members can read them. best regards

Default Great work!

I don't check in or post often, but this is great work on your part! I, for one, love the history of what Burdick accomplished and this validates his insight yet again. Thanks again!

Robert
Thanks Robert. I appreciate the kind words. These articles didn't get a lot of responses but I feel they are an important part of the hobby. They will be in our Archive section in the next few days for all to see and read for future reference. best regards

Default Jefferson Burdick in Hobbies, July, 1937

This thread is permanently located in our archive section. That being said I am very happy to be able to update it with another article from Jefferson Burdick, in Hobbies Magazine, July 1937. As far as I know there is only one article not listed here that he wrote for Hobbies. The search continues......but for now please enjoy ...
