Hard to tell conclusively from the scan, but the top border on the back looks pretty uneven. The bigger ? for me is for a card this desired and valuable, why didn't the previous owner(s) sub it to PSA or SGC instead of GAI? The obvious answer is maybe they did and it didn't pass. JMO . . .

Trimmded top? I was thinking the same thing, look how on the back near #92 the edge suddenly dips downward

Agree. At first, I looked at the front and thought it was trimmed but thought that may be the holder. Once you zoom in on the back though, the card looks trimmed.

I would bet that card has been sent in to both and probably more than once.
I would also bet if it could have gotten an 8 or 88 it would already be in that slab. I dont see that card getting out of the GAI slab. |

The shadows from the holder make it hard to say for sure. If it measures correctly then I don't see how the kind of trim suggested by the shadows makes sense for anyone to try. I would be optimistic about a crossover. But I have a terrible eye for trims.

knock at least 2 grades from gai cards, that's my experience with anything over a gai 5...so put this one as a M/G 80/6.
does these old gai holders have a site to verify cert #s? |
