Numerically challenged
I hadn't clicked the link until After I read about an 8 fetching 57k...
Now i must remind you that i'm a mid-low grade, t205 kinda guy, but I figured that meant you get at least 8 expensive UZIT cards, not just one.  If the rare backs are going through the roof, why don't the Sweet Caps and Piedmonts (of which there are thousands) drop significantly? Gimme a Lajoie portrait with a common back on the cheap , people! Or even a Crawford because i traded mine years ago for peanuts. Congrats to the consignor (who must have never touched the card with his hands) but made big bucks by selling at the right time! Wow...
