Some of my raws (pardon the raw review). Not as exotic as some others but I like them.. and like them raw.

Neat idea, thanks for starting Ted. And thanks to everyone else for sharing.
I don't necessarily consider myself a raw card collector -- when I returned to collecting baseball cards 18 months ago, I've primarily purchased graded cards simply for the security reasons when purchasing items via the internet. But the bulk of my former collection is all raw, including these that I picked up nearly 20 years ago: ![]() ![]() ![]() Also have a 1973 Topps rookie card of Mike Schmidt that I bought from the local card shop in Teaneck NJ for $100 as a kid -- at that point it was my first real "big item" purchase, so it surely has a strong sentimental attachment. Haven't yet made a scan of it though. --S p.s. the scratches on the Mantle are on the case, not the card

Thanks Ted, I'd post others but I picked up most of my looooong before I had a scanner, or even a computer. Your raw collection looks amazing! I just picked up my first N162 a few months ago, Brouthers (graded).. always been my favorite set aesthetically and now I finally have one.

whoops...I didn't understand what "raw" meant.
like ya know, like: does yer ball hang low do you swing it to the ground... does it wobble to and fro and cause awe all around ? ..and yes..it's 100% real and not even a tiny little wrinkle....stiff as the day it was born. Last edited by murcerfan; 11-30-2011 at 11:59 PM. |
