Did anyone notice the unique baseball item in the new American Pickers episode last night? When the camera first started panning around the home of the auctioneer (just before the Hopalong Cassidy sweater), there was a 2-3 second shot of a large die-cut baseball sign -- it appeared to be some sort of tribute to Kirby Farrell and the Erie Sailors.

No, I missed that. When I watch them again online this week, I'll keep an eye out.

Default Am. Pickers/Pawn Stars

Yes, I did see that sign, but wasn't sure what it was. What was funny about the bat and glove on Pawn Stars, my wife, who knows nothing about sports memorabilia, made the comment, "they look like they were signed with a sharpie"!

My first thought was that this was a setup to make them look good after that bogus Gehrig jersey they "bought" a while back.
