That Medal is incredibly gorgeous.... didn't know thay used the "Winged Sock" waaaaaay back then. And LOVE the American Flag as a backdrop. I want that!

For some odd reason I actually prefer some of these shots to those in uniform. Heres my contribution of Ty Cobb, Joe Dimaggio, Jackie Robinson, Fidel Castro, and Landis.

It ALL counts Phil. Let's see some suits! Suits, Suits, Suits.

1933 TYPE 1 photo shows Jimmie Foxx accepting his All-American Award from the King of Clout Himself. I guess you can call these Power Suits.

Technically a card, but since I seldom if ever post cards on the other side, here's an OT suit

Here's my "Connie Mack".

I use quotation marks because part of me thinks it's not him. It's an ebay purchase from long ago.

This might be my favorite "suits" photo, as it shows the great DiMaggio posing for the press as he had just announced his retirement on December 11, 1951

Note: This was one of my photographs that was featured in Harvey Frommer's 2008 Book entitled "Remembering Yankee Stadium" which is a must for any Yankee fan.

Funny, I looked at the Connie Mack cabinet photo before the identifying info and thought that it was Mack right away. I guess that's a good sign (or I don't know what I am talking about)

Doug - that's the part of you that you should listen to. Though he is a man in a suit, he isn't Connie Mack. Among other things, the ear does not match. (also upper lip/philtrum, wavy hair vs. straight hair....)

Thank you Mark.

Anybody want to buy or trade for my picture of a random guy in a suit? Insert smiley face here.

To make up for posting some random guy, here's one of my St Louis Republic supplements.
