Now my favorite item isn't a card, and I'm sure a good amount of people on this forum have one in better condition, but the 1859 Harper's woodcut of the Elysian Fields would have to be my favorite as of right now.. Or possibly the 1869 Harper's Weekly full issue with the Red Stockings woodcut.

Default those members aren't real

WE have around 3000 registered members. Those others are fake ones that get registered by trolls writing programs to register fake id's with forums using our type of software. If we follow the 80/20 rule, where only 20% of the people that watch the forum are in fact registered, then the amount of folks checking this forum out is still quite a bit. Even just the registered number is quite a bit but we use the 80/20 rule on that number, and say that only about 600 participate...we still have quite a few. Hopefully some of those folks will show their favorite cards. I have too many faves but here is one I like with a blank back....

Mine isn't prewar, and it likely pales in comparison to most of your choices, but here's one of my best, and easily my favorite:

Started collecting '82. Saw a picture of this card in an issue of "Baseball Cards" in 1983.......(remember those))......I was 12 at the time and thought to myself "I will probably never even see a real one"......the dream/quest started.....the dream was realized in 2009 with many thanks to a forum member who decided to sell....

Default Favorite Card

Not my best, but easily my favorite... and the one that would be most difficult to part with! T202 Cobb seperated side panel... Wanted a Cobb in the worst way, but was collecting on an extremely tight budget at the time..

I put this in the October pickups too, but it's my best prewar card.

That Hugh Duffy is off the charts, always love seeing it. Beautiful 19th century imperial cabinet photo of HOFer Duffy, framed by a beautiful black mount with gold print.

This thread has been done somewhat recently . . .

Default Not in the best of shape, but...

The card itself is not in the best of shape, but it is without a doubt the best card in my collection...

Those are some amazing cards! Mine pale in comparison to the ones posted here but I'd say my two favorites are below. David, I'm with you on the woodcuts...love the red stockings one!
