______________ It was around this time, collecting early to mid-eighties, that I asked my friend while we walked to our little league park if he thought there was any such thing as a real Babe Ruth card from his playing days. He, nor anyone else, knew if there was or not. Used to imagine what one would look like, with my template being black and white, some sort of action shot maybe. So now, nearly thirty years later, I have a few. So this 80's card means a lot for a few reasons. A true entertainer on the mound with the Braves, stomping, raging behind the mound, finally delivering that 88 MPH puss.......The Mad Hungarian error card; It was a fairly big deal back then:
