John/Leon... maybe I'm seeing things, but there almost looks to be a variation on the backs. In Leon's scan, one back appears to say "For Exacting Smokers" (with both an initial and end quote). On John's scan, his comparative back seems to say For Exacting Smokers" (with only an end quote).

Actually Leon, your card appears to have both quotes... It's John's that is missing the initial quote.

My 150 series Obaks have both lines of the initial quotemark, while 2 of my 175 series Obaks only have one of the lines in the initial quotemark. Another 175 series card I own has just a smidgen of the initial line of the quotemark (didn't scan that one).

I was actually serious-Jacob Warren Bowman (J.W. Bowman) of Bowman Gum fame lived in Mexico and the American Southwest as a child. The initials, last name and locale from the PC fit and it's probably just a coincidence but an intriguing one. Ted may know a little more about his whereabouts as a kid and I was thinking of his father as a possible recipient since he was probably too young at the time to have received samples but I think he was 13-14 years old when that PC was sent.
