Has anyone ever attempted to put together a collection of type cards (including the toughest ones), with a goal of acquiring the highest-graded examples of each? That might be a fun little project. You wouldn't necessarily place a premium on Hall of Famers, just the highest-graded cards extant.

Thanks, Richard. KBats are scary addictive; difficult to believe their crisp images were taken in ballyards 125 years ago. George Wood, as you probably are aware, is a Canajun, a Maritimer no less. One of the fellows on the Board who hails from PEI posted recently that Wood was inducted into the Canadian BBHoF this year.

Regards, Richard. NB. And yes, I'm aware of Wood being a fellow Canuck and now a member of the, uh, prestigious Canadian BBHoF. |

Here's the highest graded signed T206 card that I've ever seen. It is originally from the Jeff Morey collection.

Like a clown car, you never know how many are inside.
As the clown group that has the penultimate edge on us all would surely say " We wish you the best whilst you fail ...great idea indeed!"

Here's the best I've got right now
I had some high hopes for this one but a nearly invisible bend brought it down a bit. Steve B |
