I think my cholesterol level rose about 10 points just looking at this thread.

I collect old toys. I also dabble in cereal boxes.

Default Go Joe!

Besides cards, I collect a few oddball things. I've kept and added to my collection of Star Wars toys as a kid (don't have a pic of that stuff), but I always wished I kept my GI Joe toys. Last year when they re-released the toys in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the cartoon series, I was all over it, although I think pretty soon I'm going to let my son open them up and play with them, as modern toys and cartoons seem to be seriously lacking in testosterone ("Sponge Bob" and "Phineas and Ferb"? Gimme a break!)

Way off the beaten path, I collect radio and television broadcast tickets from the 1930s-1970s...that's the reason my screen name is "oldtix". I like the graphics and the fact that these tickets were once in the presence of the performers. Very few of the tickets were torn or defaced at entry, giving a very attractive way to visually remember the voices of the past.

Hey Rick, ever seen an old letterhead from the company that probably made many of those tickets you collect?
