Hi Ted,
Based on the SGC pop report and based on the following Mastro auction lot description the McQuillan Cycle 460 does exist: http://www.legendaryauctions.com/Lot...px?lotid=76916 The SGC pop report lists 2 Cycles (50 & 60) for McQuillan, but doesn't provide a pose. It does list the cards as 1911 though. The only other McQuillan card in the set is the 150/350 series McQuillan (Ball in Hand) and this card cannot be found with a Cycle back. Thus, the cards in the pop report have to be Cycle 460's. In addition, the Mastro lot specifically lists the McQuillan (with bat) as an SGC 50 with a Cycle back. This matches exactly with one of the entries the pop report. PS - If someone on the board owns it I would be happy to buy it for my Cycle 460 subset. ![]() Thanks, Jerry |

believe it should exist, and I've seen the other two Phillies from the 350/460 series.
Would appreciate seeing a scan. An auction listing or a Population report do not provide "definitive" proof in my mind, particularly given the chance for mistake/error that we know that both grading companies and auction houses make mistakes. |

Marc,
Unfortunately, the auction lot was for a T206 520 card set and thus no scans of this specific card were provided. To me there is too much coincidence that both the pop report and the auction listing indicate an SGC 50 McQuillan Cycle exists. I'm just presenting the facts. Jerry |

I really have to see a scan before I believe that the card exists.. I do believe it should but until a scan shows up I think it should be left off.
Why does the other McQuillen not exist with a Cycle 350 back? Lee

The other McQuillen (Ball In Hand) is a 150-350 Subject and Cycle 350's were printed during the 350 Only group. |

Lee -- I agree with you. No board member has actually seen or confirmed this card. Basing a checklist inclusion simply on a population report and/or a card listed in a large auction grouping does not pass the "ample evidence" test in my mind to definitively confirm the existence of a card. Particularly given the wealth of knowledge / resources / hobby expertise of the many members on this site, it seems more appropriate to me to state "likely to exist, but not definitively confirmed".
