We said the same thing on the Leaf Paige I referenced that he sold without a back scan for multiples of what it should have. Of course, it was back for sale a month after that; presumably the buyer got it in hand and saw the back...
Also, it could be a 20 due to a stray pencil mark on the back.

So freaking ASK the guy for a scan, geez. And if he won't provide one, don't bid. How hard is this?

The discussion you raised is about the ethics of the seller; not about what a potential buyer should do.

Right, and where the buyer can easily protect himself, and the seller's MO is just not to provide back scans in the listing, I don't see any ethical problem. Maybe he isn't the best ebay seller in the world, but I hardly think it rises to the level of an ethical issue.

Seriously, all the scumbag card doctors out there and all their enablers, and we are going to blast some dude whose practice is not to list back scans even on his mint cards, when he promptly provides a scan on request?
