These are all really amazing...how did you all come across these photos? I'm especially interested in the League Park photos having just visited the site a month ago.

One of my all-time favorite stadium shots, taken at Chicago's West Side Park during a game between the Cubs and Giants in 1908, about a month before the famous Merkle's Boner contest.

original negatives that I have of Nevin/Briggs Stadium both from their 1940 AL Championship season
First is a regular day game, I like how the sun is coming in and the sweet hats on the fellas. Second, is a shot from behind the plate during Game 3 of the World Series vs. the Cincinnati Reds Last edited by 3and2; 10-23-2010 at 01:38 PM.
