Jack Sutthoff has arrived at his new home!
The card arrived late last week and is currently resting in our china cabinet, in the front of course, where everyone can see it. Thanks again Leon, may your kindness return tenfold.

One more thing if I may, while I very much appreciate the support of other members on here I don't want anyone to feel obligated to give up or even offer to sell anything in their collection. After all, it is a collection and any item in it is there for a reason and I respect that.

That is really cool, it must be very humbling to look at the card and think 'that's my grandfather' ! I have pictures of my grandfather working out in the wheat field and it is very surreal to look at and think about how different times were and how much things have changed and yet stayed the same. Very nice of Leon to give you a connection to your past.

Steve- That makes it all worth it. Glad he arrived safely. I am always a little concerned about very scarce heirlooms getting lost. Thanks for the update. best regards

If the way to enlightenment is to cast off our material goods, Leon you have made a nice start but you still have a ways to go.

I recently saw an interview on youtube with both of Mickey Mantle's living sons and they said that they don't own a 1952 Topps Mantle. If I give them mine maybe I will win the lottery?
