Spike has always been one of my favorite cards from the set for just that reason. It's so odd. Looks like it was drawn by a 6 year old on bring your kid to work day.

The Bender and Walsh portraits have always been favorites of mine.

Stephens has an itty-bitty pomegranate head...

Default Leifield Pitching

Definitely a beautiful card, with orange and strawberry sherbert sky...

I don't know the set as well as most of you, but I think the Cobb bat off shoulder pose is the best looking T206 I have ever seen.

The Lobert and Dougherty portraits (I'm at work, so no scans unless someone wants to help) are among the best and, up there with Shannon and Egan is McLean - drawn by a 8 year old, it seems

Disagree on McLean -- this is one of my favorites because of the very dark blue uni and catcher's equipment. But it is childlike in its rendering to be sure....

Kind of my point- it should be a lot cooler than it is, which is disappointing.

Default Behold the monster lurking within The Monster

Like I mentioned previously, I think the artist did a real good job at making Mr. Egan look as presentable as possible.

Tough to pick the best. There are many good ones. Fielder Jones-hands on hips, comes to mind. Camnitz-arms folded. Reulbach-glove showing. Of course, most of the portraits are really good.

Worst: easy- Spike Shannon
2nd Rube Kissinger

I am biased because this is one of the first two T206s I got back in '79 or '80, but I have always thought this was one of the best looking cards in the set.

Default Best and Worst

The WORST looking cards are the ones I have...

The BEST looking cards are the one I don't have.

Think about that one!

The background on Bell's card is amazing. It looks like a thunderstorm building at sunset.

I have to go with Egan for the worst.

Default Best and Worst T206s

Please excuxe the fact that I don't have any scans.(Maybe some fellow member can help me out but I always have thought of these two:

Best- Hart (Southern Leaguer)
Worst- Krueger (His stare and look always has creeped me out thinking it was Freddie before he starting wearing the glove with knives)

Default Waddell throwing / Stephens

I've always favored the Rube Waddell - throwing. The colors are terrific, and the left handed action depiction is great. On the other hand, I've always thought the Jim Stephens T206 looks inhuman.......(both cards are mine).

Apologies for my lack of a scanner

My Favorites:
Cobb bat off
Matty Black Cap
Johnson Port
M. Brown Port
Lobert

And I have to go with Egan. Anytime I am looking at a lot on ebay, his card always jumps out at me, and not in a good way.
