Save the slips from the slabs to go with the card. I bought a card a couple months ago and as a surprise it came with a slip from an SGC slab. Probably the right one too, the card was a 10 and looks it. But still nice to know it got a number and I suppose could be reslabbed if I wanted.
I've ony sent a handful of cards for grading, it was fun, and I'll probably send a few more. But I can't see doing it for stuff that will get 1s and 2s. I'm too lazy to crack out the low grade card I bought, but I guess if I had a bunch of them the bulk might matter. Steve B

I have cracked a bunch, go for it.
I use 15-pocket sheets designed for the tobacco cards, and they look great.
