No secret I am a 206 guy but I need to know a little about these 205s.
Why is there a Hindu Walter Johnson and no Hindu Mathewson?

I am trying to figure out some things with the set myself. This is the reason I asked for scans.

Thanks Jim for the Help and hope to see you in Balt. Any one else have any other Mathewsons F/B scans. Grade or condition does not matter as long as the back scan is fully intact and legible.

Thanks

Well you said any condition. As you might expect, mine's not the best.

As my avatar denotes, I am very interested in this topic. I have 5 different front/back combinations (will try to get scans up when I return home), but the 5 I have are those listed by Joshua.
1) Hassan Fact 30
2) Piedmont Fact 25
3) Polar Bear
4) Sovereign Fact 25
5) Sweet Caporal Red Fact 42.

I can also confirm as personally seeing the Amer Beauty Green, Honest Long Cut, Cycle (error) and the Piedmont Fact 42.

I have always questioned whether a Drum or Hindu even exists, but as for the Broad Leaf black, I bet there is a member out there that can confirm that one.

Dave

Sorry, but none are for sale. Most aren't really that scarce so finding another shouldn't be too diffucult. I usually only sell things if I upgrade others...not always, but usually. Thanks for the offer though. regards

Jim,
Different print runs resulted in different front/back combos...just like certain cards in the t206 set are unavailable with certain backs, same goes for T205s. Certain cards were replaced during production runs.
