Very cool pickup. I think you got a great deal on it.

They were found about eight or nine years ago along with some partial E93 blank back sheets. I believe it was one E93 set in two sheets, one in three, and another partial. The other part of the partial was cut up into what are now E93 blank backs - often advertised as proofs. If I remember right, they were all found in an envelope of somebody whose relative worked for the lithographer back in the day. Peter Calderon or Doug Allen might be able to give clearer details, but that is my recollection. It was originally auctioned by Mastro Auctions at the time.

P.S. Here is how my E93 sheets from the same find are displayed.

i LOVE your full sheet jim. knew u had it but not sure if you wanted it be known, like the other 90% of your collection besides the e93s/t206s.

i wish whomever didn't cut up all those sheets and put those e93s/e97s in individual SGC A holders...that sucked.

My cards from Goodwin arrived today. Very pleased! Still waiting for Legendary Auction winnings and they closed a week earlier. Why is that?

Legendary is just very slow, so you'll be waiting a while. They received my check on June 4th, and the funds were withdrawn from my checking account on June 5th. I called them today, and they said that they weren't going to ship until June 17th since their policy is to wait at least 10 days after personal checks clear before shipping. I asked them why, and they said it's just their policy since inception.

This is a standard business procedure and I can't blame them for that. Generally if it is someone that has done business with me in the past or if it's a small amount I will just ship it, but of all things this isn't something to get pissy about.

I won several cards in SCP including the Boston Store Sisler, the Tom Baker Joe Jackson which I stole and the Zeenut McMullen which I can't believe sold so cheaply.
