Default Not Quite a "white whale" but...

Today I secured a deal to pick up my first example of a T206 Hindu back Southern Leaguer. I know its VERY rough, but it fills a type card spot for my collection, and Im happy! I've only been trying to find one that I can afford for around a year! Thanks D.!

Mike - Congrats on completing the T222 set, and thanks for the kind words. Enabling you to complete this set gave me satisfaction as well. And, I am still in love with the card you traded me for the Henry!

Bill - I live near you, and I suspect that we are competitors for some of the same cards of Washington players. But, I can help you with the T222-McBride, as I have a couple of them. I'll send you an email.

Val

Great thread and what collecting is all about. Congrats Tim on the W711.

As for me, well I have this grandiose crazy idea that I can complete an E-107 Boston AL subset. The allure for me is they are the first cards ever issued for the team and the year of issue coincides with the team winning the first ever modern WS. I am a little less then half way there and I have been on the case for about 15 years . So you could say that every time I pick one up, it is somewhat of a white whale for me. I am pushing middle age so the clock is ticking but it sure is fun when I can find one.

Happy collecting to all.
