Here's Carl Hubbell's jacket, in the current Heritage auction ending April 23. His number "11" is penned in vintage ink in the collar.

Default Big thrills for the Giants fans...

One of the most sought after pieces in the hobby is this 1951 Ticket Stub from the third and final game of the 1951 N.L. playoffs (thanks goes out to Richard Simon). This ticket entitled it's owner admission into the Polo Grounds to bare witness to Baseball's most incredible moment... "The shot heard 'round the world".

Also a nice little Giants pocket Schedule from '51 as well.

And a pair of vintage original TYPE I photographs. One very famous image, as Thompson connects with the ball that will forever change his life. And moments later, Bobby kissing his now historic bat...

Final Giants game at Seals Stadium and Opening Game at Candlestick Park, two milestones in SF Giants history.

Default Such a great thread...keeping it alive

Love these little 4x6 Bain shots, and the content of this one was too great to pass up.

Marquard with his son on the dugout steps, early in the 1918 season.

The scan of this one is terrible - the clarity and sharpness is hard to beat in person.

That's a stunner! Is it a regular photo or a real photo postcard?

Also as a Mays fan, I love that last photo of Willie swinging.
