Leon: I'm sick of you putting that card up. Every time I see it I drool on one of my shirts. Great card. Frank

Thanks Jeff....next Starbucks visit is on me!! So show us some of yours too...I am not sure any commons can get neater than these. Many cards shown will just be the "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" types. It's what helps make the hobby fun.

Let's just say I agree with Bruce B about the Oakes card. I believe I first
saw that card on the old Net54 forum, some 7 or 8 years ago & it was instantly
added to my wantlist. I searched for a copy for a couple years with zero leads.
Then, by chance, a collecting buddy on another forum posted an E92 Nadja
Oakes as a new pickup. I PM'ed him an offer, and the rest is history.
A few other fave commons follow the Oakes.

Hey FUBAR (Jim) you are thinking of Kurt Bevacqua!

Here are a few of my favorite commons...

Although my favorite common is still probably the D380-1 Osborn leaping card

Default Uncommon common T206's............

I always get a kick out of the look of pure joy on the face of Fred Burchell. T206's have predominately dour visages. I wonder why John Titus persisted in having a handlebar mustache long after it was in vogue......I've read where he was a bit eccentric. Perhaps that explains it.
