I use a safe deposit box at the bank for some of the better stuff and the rest is at home. My homeowners insurance policy covers about $130K worth of my collectables which is more than enought to replace them. Also use my wife as a deterent for theives. They have to take her with them and most never make it up the drive, the rest just leave when she answers the door.
